So cute!!!! Such a difference from that first meeting!!! Thanks for continuing to update!!
Love,
Jeanne
I can/will 'second' the recommendation to share some plans for the next day! Our girls were 12 and 9 when they became ours--to this day our now 15 yr. old VERY much wants to know our plans in advance. It isn't nearly as critical to her, but you can tell it is important to her.
I believe it is true that their former unpredictable life has sort of 'hard wired' them to prepare for what may be coming next.
That's a great idea to post/provide tips to 'soon-to-be' adoptive parents of older children!
the pictures are beautiful! thank you so much for posting them!
Look at your beautiful family!!! You are so blessed....
:) Allison
What a beautiful family you have! Blessings.
Love the pics! Hope you have one for Aunt Nik:)
Dear Jason and Melanie,
good afternoon! My name is Cristina,I'm 21 y.o. and I write you from Turin,in Italy. This morning I read your story.I think that you have really a fantastic family. You are special parents. It is straordinary, what you made for Inna and Vitalik. In May 2008,I also was in Novograd Volinskyj. In that city lives my little ukrainian sister. She calls Olena and she lives in the same internat where lived your Inna.Olena has an alcoholc father, who I met in May.He doesn't love her daughter,so Olena lives alone in internat.Every year,Olena comes to my home in Italy for 3 mounths. We are her Italian family. Now she is in internat, but in December maybe she will return here.We can't adopt Olena, because she isn't an orphan. But I love Olena by all my heart. She is a child with many problems, but for me she is the best child in the world. If you have photos of Inna's internat and of children, who we saw in this internat, can you send me?Maybe Olena is in your photos.I pray you, send me this photos...I don't see Olena from mounths!
A big kiss for your sons.
Cristina
