Getting Ready To Travel

Hi all~ We are anxiously awaiting to travel to the new region. The name of the region is Zhytomyr. We will be leaving at 6:00 a.m. on Monday morning with a new facilitator that we havent had yet. We will also be taking Jeanne with us for the first day to stay with Grant. She is the nanny that stayed with Grant on our first SDA appointment and she is also Dr. Jim and Marianna's daughter (there is a pic on an earlier post). She is very sweet and we are excited to have her company on the ride! We have spent what will be our last few days in Kiev for awhile spending time with The Peipon's one night and eating dinner with them and then tonight we went to one of our faciliator's (B) house again for dinner. There is another adoptive mom that we have been able to hang out with at both houses each night (She uses the same agency as us and so we had met her before we even left the states...we have had a great time with all them!!!!

I do have a specific prayer request beyond the obvious with the adoption process. I have not felt real well the past few days, just kinda queezy on my stomach that I feel is probably just due to the adoption rollercoaster that we have been on :) But today, Jason is really not feeling well at all and had a fever this evening. We would appreciate if you would also pray for our health and that we will all feel well on Monday. Thanks!

From James: "I am so glad that you are waiting for a brother or sister. I bet you are excited! I wish you the best and that window you can sit in is awesome! And I would not try sushi. You are very brave, Mr. Jason. I can't wait for you to come join us at Moe's soon. I like the pictures a lot. Especially of the cathedral and the snow. I hope you've been liking the Ukraine for the past 3 weeks." Love, James

From Anna: "I am so happy that you are trying to get a new brother or sister! I miss you a lot and hope that you can come and play at my house with me and Emma when you get home. We can play 'Jesus' if you want to." Love, Anna

From Lisa: "I'm not sure what game that is exactly. Anna said for me not to worry about it, that she and Grant know how to play. :*) I am so happy that your next appointment is tomorrow. We will continue to say prayers for you all and especially for health."

From John: "We love ya and we miss ya. We will continue to pray for you daily."

Thanks for stopping by my blog.
We each go on this journey in our time. Sometimes we are delayed and there is no understanding of why...until we meet our child and then we know.

Praying that this is the one!

Bryan and I just read the Sadie's comment about playing "Jesus". We remember that! That's great! When you come home and get settled we'll have a "This-used-to-be-my-house-party"

Melanie, we are in Destin as I write this. Don't worry, sista, you haven't missed anything except for rain, rain and more rain! We did eat at a great restaurant, Grafiti's...yummy Italian...

Bryan told me that our friend ate at that restaurant in Myrtle Beach, The Giant Crab. (Jason, we'll ALWAYS remember that place!) Anyway, our friend said that some of the lights were burned out on their sign and it read, "The Giant ab"...Ok, maybe not that funny, but I thought so...

If Tiff is reading this I have many pairs of shoes to give you, Melaine you can wear them if you'd like... :)

Well, I just read your email and Bryan and I are praying and eagerly awaiting to see what is to come...

We love you, guys...tell Grant that, "Miss Emma does gymnastics!"

Dear Lord....Please be with Melanie, Jason & Grant through this journey in their lives to add to their family. You already have a plan in motion and we are all just waiting to see how you will bless this family. Please also lay your hands on all 3 of them through this journey as they are making it under the weather. I pray that they will feel better very soon! In You Name We Pray -- AMEN!!!!

We hope that you have a great trip & get to feeling better very soon!!

We Love You

Hope that you have a safe journey and that you and Jason get to feeling better. I knew about the "Dubya" thing...that is how Dub got his nickname. He is from Texas and he has an initial name W.H. so "Dub" came from the "Dubya". Only in Texas :D Be safe and love to all.
