SDA Appointment Surprise TODAY!

Hello all, we got a nice little surprise today. We got a call earlier this morning around 9:00 am our time 1:00 am Montgomery time that our SDA appointment was going to be at 4:00 pm. It went well, we are excited about going to the region Monday morning. Can't be too specific yet until things are more definite, will post about that Monday or Tuesday. The region we are headed to is northwest of Kiev and about 2 1/2 hours away.

We thank you all for your prayers, they mean alot.

Jason

Hey, nice to have a short drive instead of going across the country. Praying for your first meeting and hoping this is the child(ren) God has for you.

Mel, it was great to talk to you this afternoon. I will not tell you that there were tears in my eyes, and a lump in my throat as you shared your good news with me...even though there were. We will definitely be shootin' some prayers skyward 'til God has completed what He has begun. Will Grant be able to go with you to the orphanage this time? I know it's going to seem like a long weekend for y'all, cause I know it will be for me. Just think, every passing minute brings you a liitle bit closer. I love you and miss you all.

I prayed for you today after I heard one of my favorite songs - "Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord, wait upon the Lord, we will wait upon the Lord"....

Can't wait to hear the update!

Hi Melanie, I found your blog on Marianna's (we're OLD friends)and enjoyed reading your adoption story. I live in Alabama, too (Huntsville) and will continue to pray for your family. Reading those adoption blogs has been a real eye-opener.

Thanks for sharing.

Privet and Congrats on Monday...that will be Sunday for us...prayers will be going up, but 7 is a little much Grant. But whatever God's will is we accept graciously. Congrats to the Hood's as I just viewed their site, and others that are waiting. The Lord sure is blessing. Much Love, GiGi

We are Robbie and Tim Cantey in Montgomery. We adopted our Sam from Dnepro, Ukraine summer of 2005. We were fortunate enough to be in Ukraine with the Taylors and spent time together like y'all have with the Hoods. We ran into the DeBardeleben's at The Rave and they gave us your blog. We will be praying for y'all. And look forward to meeting your Ukrainian prince/princess!

Hey Sweet Friends, I read the entry from the Ukrainiac (wondering who that is?) I was just thinking about our time in Ukraine during the Orange Revolution. How cool is it that we both have witnessed major political happenings during our time there? We will have to share pictures and stories to put in a treasure box for our children. We love you and are so excited about the coming days!!!!! Cindy
