Waiting AGAIN!!!!

Well, I was looking forward to sharing more info with you tonight, but I will share what I can right now. After visiting the orphanages (Yes, I did say orphanagES!)It is 2 children who are siblings, but are in two different orphanages (I will share more about them later). Unfortunately, there is an unusual administrative matter in this situation that has come up and will have to be taken care of before they allow these children to be adopted. This came as a surprise to us and although we have visited them once, we will not be able to visit again until the city meets and makes a decision regarding these children. We are hoping to have an answer by Thursday and then begin visiting again with them on Friday and move forward with the process! PLEASE keep this matter in prayer! We were planning on taking Grant to see them today, so it was a dissappointment for ALL of us not to visit them. Wow...let's just say...we are learning the fruit of patience!!! I will update on this as soon as we know something.

A post from Grant:
"I am excited that we are already in the region. At least it didnt take 3 mos, but it felt like it. We have a fancy shower at our hotel and a cafe down stairs- I dont really like that, but I have to eat it, because there are not many places to eat in this region. Boo~ no McDonald's! I hope it doesnt last long. Hopefully, we will get our new family members soon! I am excited about them! It is very hard to wait! The good thing is that we live in a fancy hotel, but our hotel rooms are small. We have to go to the lobby to post. It takes a long time to get upstairs. I am glad we have a car now with our translator. He is staying with us and helping us. He is very nice too! Yesterday, it was easy to go to sleep because I woke up so early that morning. Luv~ Grant

Here are some pics:
1. At the Grocery Store in Kiev
2. Tiff~ since you seem to be getting attached to the Tahoe, we found this BEAUTY for you at a great deal!
3. A cathedral in Kiev
4. A walkway that I thought was pretty.
5. Grant's new window seat in the NEW region!

Gurl, it looks like you're gonna need a car that seats 6! Is there anybody out there who wants to give the Halls a new car? Bring it on!

Mel and family,
I am the Hood's Honey(alias Amanda's MOM).I am so glad that ya'll are over there together. I think the both of you will find strength in talking to each other about all the different situations that the both of ya'll will be facing. We have found that you have to be very specific when your praying to God about children. They are very special to him and he only wants them with the best.
I pray for patience and understanding for you and quick paper work for your future children. May you bond quickly and have many funny stories to tell as Jerry and Amanda do.
Thank you for being such good friends to my children.
Honey

I am thankful that you have internet access so that we know best how to be praying for all y'all. Praying for this paperwork snag to be cleared up and for everything to move quickly FORWARD. Grant, I am hoping that you're writing another book about this whole experience! Maybe one on foods, one on WAITING in different places, and whatever else your precious heart desires! Hugs to each of you. And a tickle for Grant.

Hi, I found your blog through a series of other blogs from people who have adopted from Ukraine. We hosted a girl from Zhytomer this past Christmas. If you get a chance, my email is stephaneep@hotmail.com

Thanks!

LOL Flonase...Tiff and I were just talking about that very thing. I went to a church in Montgomery, and a man got up to speak who followed the anointing of the Holy Spirit, and took his wife and 7 children to NYC, NY. They had 300.00, and that is it. To make a long story short, they left NYC, NY, but gave their van away, and God blessed them over and above with a fresh new van from another. God is good all the time. Sometimes we just don't see the way, but he does.

This is a shout out to the "Hall Family," that van will not do for Tiff...her visions of cars has not fully matured. Jason, the mechanics around here are saying you need a new belt on Tahoe. Good Lord willing I'll deliver one...lol luv you all. Grant you have the bestest heart I know. Keep praying, you know how to shake heaven. Max said hello! I call your name to him, and he wags his tall and looks up. It's sweet. XOXO is that two kisses? Thinking of kisses, where are my chocolate easter eggs? : )
